Obama Consigliere Ted Kennedy Back to Work on Capitol Hill

While never a big fan of Ted Kennedy (see Chappaquiddick) it was good seeing him back in place on Capitol Hill yesterday. Walking gingerly with the help of a cane, Kennedy was greeted by applause from staff and fellow senators on the floor of the Russell Caucus Room.

Chappaquiddick aside, I truly am happy to see Ted back in D.C. if for no other reason than President-elect Obama could use all the help he can get to line his ducks in a row for a smooth transition. Everyone is waiting for him to screw something up and Kennedy can be great counsel to Obama in the coming months. Good luck Senator and have a speedy recovery!
