OPEC is meeting today in Vienna to discuss oil output reductions that could further widen the worldwide economic slump if played out incorrectly. Cut too much, and OPEC creates gridlock again on a global scale. Too little, and the 13 member OPEC countries will continue to have too much inventory Read more

Saudi Meeting Ends in Higher Oil Prices…WTF?

OK, this is a total, all out, unadulterated, industrial strength rant. How does Saudi Arabia set up a meeting to talk about increasing oil production to lower oil prices…and the price of oil goes up! What the eff did you guys do?

The gas prices U.S. and other consumer countries are paying is up 40% over last year….and it was effing high then! It’s not a question of if, but when this bubble will burst. And it will burst. It will burst the day after I trade in my SUV for the dorky but fuel efficient Prius, or some other nondescript car that gets more than thirty miles to the gallon but makes me look like a kitten    ;)

But It Gets Even Better!

In the U.S. we are gearing up to do what we do best…hold effing hearings. Joseph Lieberman will hold court to determine if “speculators are influencing prices.” Can anyone imagine that we have to hold hearings for this? I don’t understand how nothing is being done and nothing is coming out of Washington to provide relief. The pundits are calling for the extinction of the airlines like they were the effing dinosaurs! But you know the one airline that  I don’t hear about having problems….that’s right, Saudi Airlines seems to be doing just fine!

Anyway, while you are trying to find the lowest gas prices near you don’t worry… it’s going to get worse. It may be ninety degrees out there but the leaves will be changing soon enough and then the real bitch slapping is going to begin as home heating oil prices are expected to hit five dollars a gallon. I for one, am going to get a fair amount of use out of my fireplace this winter!

Wall Street Worried About Recovery? FU!

Here is the headline yesterday on cnn.money.com;

“Wall Street frets about recovery”

Here is the link to the story.

Go read the story, vomit, then come back here to read this rant! OK, done? Here goes. WHO THE EFF ARE THESE GUYS KIDDING? Wall Street frets about recovery? Wall Street is why we are in the crapper in the first place! Let’s take a look boys and girls:

Oil-As if I needed to explain this one. I forget the number (maybe on of the three of you reading this blog can remind me) but I think I heard there is $50 effing dollars worth of speculation baked into the price of a barrel of oil.

Home Foreclosures-Oh let me count the ways Wall Street ef’d this one up!

Unemployment-Were it not for all these a-holes at Wall Street banks getting packed in, and taking the companies they ruined with them, maybe the latest unemployment number wouldn’t have sent douche chills through the markets last week!

Earnings-Tough to make a profit when all of your effing money is going into fuel costs!

Banking-I actually looked at my bank statement last weekend and saw a miscellaneous fee for my bank having to take the time to apply a another fee!

Automotive-GM thought it was a good idea to base it’s comeback on trucks and SUV’s five years ago….how’s that working…a-holes!

Oil Production & Refining-Why would we get around to building a refinery? Oh, what’s that, you don’t want that in your backyard? Well tell me, how ya makin’ out with the high-power lines going over your schools or the nuclear dump sites built into mountain ranges?

I am sure there is more but this is the best I can do while going on a coffee induced rant.
